Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Remember that in God, you’re already built to last and to be a great success. God is not sitting in heaven trying to figure out only now what He can do for you or what He could do with you. Your prevailing negative circumstances are not an indication of who you are according to God, those are mere challenges that will pass away. The real born again you, is an amazing creation of God. Your loving Father has already prepared you both the great works that you will do and has equally endowed you with the gifts and anointing that will make you a great success. It is now up to you to make sure that happens. Remember what God told Joshua after he took over from a great man, Moses, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8). God intentionally chose not to tell Joshua all the ways of winning battles or taking over nations and cities, although these were the real life and leadership challenges he was going to face and to deal with. God simply pointed him to the word and assured him of great success. It must have been frustrating to Joshua because as an ordinary human being he probably needed something more tangible to rely on. However, I also believe that, in his years of following Moses he had learnt that, it is the invisible that make the visible possible.

Don’t just focus your prayers on acquiring material things like houses and cars etc. Those things important to have and your Father already knows you need them; rather focus your prayers on seeking God Himself and His original will and purpose for your life. All these other things shall be added to you. YOU ARE GOD’S MASTERPIECE, YOU ARE BUILT TO LAST AND TO EXCEL!

GOD WILL NEVER CHANGE WHAT HE HAS ORIGINALLY GIFTED YOU WITH!

It is us who from time to time doubt His good intentions for our lives. God wants you alive and well so that He can use you to do great exploits for Him.

Romans 11:29 (NIV)

29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Romans 11:29 (NKJV Strong's)

29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NLT)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Colossians 3:1-3 (NKJV Strong's)

1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

NOW, WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE IN CHRIST?

The following verse is packed with seven wonderful graces that you now have in Christ. Take time to meditate on each one and see yourself flying high in the New Year!

Revelation 5:12 (NKJV Strong's)

12 saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom,

And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

WHAT MUST YOU DO TO PREPARE YOURSELF?

Isaiah 54:2-5 (NKJV Strong's)

2 “Enlarge the place of your tent,

And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;

Do not spare;

Lengthen your cords,

And strengthen your stakes.

3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,

And your descendants will inherit the nations,

And make the desolate cities inhabited.

4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed;

Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;

For you will forget the shame of your youth,

And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.

5 For your Maker is your husband,

The Lord of hosts is His name;

And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;

He is called the God of the whole earth.

Isaiah 54:2-3 (NLT)

2 “Enlarge your house; build an addition.

Spread out your home, and spare no expense!

3 For you will soon be bursting at the seams.

Your descendants will occupy other nations

and resettle the ruined cities.

Isaiah 55:8-12 (NKJV Strong's)

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

And do not return there,

But water the earth,

And make it bring forth and bud,

That it may give seed to the sower

And bread to the eater,

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,

But it shall accomplish what I please,

And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12 “For you shall go out with joy,

And be led out with peace;

The mountains and the hills

Shall break forth into singing before you,

And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
